Then you can apply for a position as a clinician scientist in one of our projects. In case of a successful application, your partial or full clinical leave will then be covered from CRC funding and the group benefitting from your work.

What you need to do:

1) get in touch with the PI of the project you would like to work in;

2) Discuss with the PI if there is a sub-project you could take up.

3) Send your application to the PI and to the CRC1550 central office <CRC1550@uni-heidelberg>, including:

• Project number

• Your name

• Part of intended clinical leave in % and duration (up to one year, liable to extension)

• Letter of motivation

• Your CV

• Outline of your planned project

Please note: the deadline for submission to the CRC1550 office is 12 April 2025. Please contact the respective PI to plan your project ahead of time.
