Heart failure and arrhythmias due to many different inherited and acquired causes put still growing strain on health care systems. Recent technological advances allow us to gain a better view on the full complexity. Building on the success of the 1st edition, the 2nd CRC 1550 International Meeting will once again bring together scientists from Heidelberg University, EMBL, and the DKFZ, alongside national and international experts, to discuss the latest advances in understanding the molecular circuitry underlying heart disease.
